The answers to some frequently asked questions are provided below, but if you need clarification on anything, or you need information that isn't provided below, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

How much notice is needed?

We require up to 4 weeks' advance notice for a celebration cake and between 3 - 6 months for a wedding cake. We may be able to do a last minute cake order with a minimum of 4 days notice, subject to diary schedule.


Do you require a deposit? 

Not when you place an order for a celebration cake, but ask that you pay in full one week before collection date.
A non-refundable £50 deposit is due when you place an order for a wedding cake, with the balance due 4 weeks before your wedding date.


What if I change my mind on the design or wish to cancel?

If for any reason you wish to cancel or change your order, please contact us as soon as possible and we will endeavour to make the changes you wish. If we have started your cake or have ordered in accessories for your cake, you may incur the charges for these.

Do you deliver the cake?

On the collection date of your cake, our preferred option is for you to collect the cake from our premises in Livingston. If you require us to deliver, we can do, but charges may apply.

On Collection of your Celebration Cake

When you collect your cake from our premises, you are responsible for transporting the cake to your venue in perfect condition as it left here, Please drive carefully with cake flat in the passenger footwell for best travelling  If anything does happen transporting the cake, please get in touch, asap and return it to us and we can try to fix or correct the damage caused, we are not responsible for the damage, once the cake leaves our premises.

   
Do you offer a consultation to design my wedding cake? 

We offer a free consultation session for tasting your choice of up to three flavours of cake, and discussing the design of your wedding cake 6 months before your wedding date.

Food allergy and intolerances 

Please be advised that foods prepared in these premises may contain these ingredients, Milk, Eggs, Wheat, Soybean, Peanuts, Tree nuts, Fish and Shell Fish. and is not a 100% nut free kitchen. 
Ingredients pre-packaged that we use i.e ready to roll icing is made in a factory that handles nuts.
